TU Introduces Credit Transfer for KIIT University Returnees
Tribhuvan University (TU) has introduced a credit transfer system for students who returned from KIIT (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology) University in Odisha, India, due to ongoing issues. The decision aims to help affected students continue their studies without losing academic progress.
TU Rector Prof. Dr. Khadga KC announced this initiative in a statement on Tuesday. He assured that TU is ready to accommodate students under its credit transfer policy. This comes after the unfortunate and mysterious death of Nepali student Prakriti Lamsal in the KIT hostel, which led several Nepali students to return home.
