Accessibility Statement
How Nepal 360 News works to make reporting usable by people with different abilities, devices, and assistive technologies.
Last updated: September 29, 2026
Nepal 360 News is committed to a website people can use regardless of ability, technology, location, or connection speed. Accessibility is ongoing work included in design, writing, development, and review.
Our target
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA where reasonably possible. These guidelines make content more perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
What we do
- Use semantic headings and landmarks for screen-reader navigation.
- Provide keyboard access and visible focus indicators.
- Use readable type, spacing, contrast, and responsive layouts.
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images when available.
- Label forms and provide understandable validation messages.
- Avoid relying only on color to communicate meaning.
- Support zoom, reflow, reduced-motion preferences, light and dark themes, and common mobile sizes.
- Use plain, familiar language for public controls and instructions.
Supported use
The site is designed for current major browsers and common assistive technologies. Older browsers or unusual combinations may provide a reduced experience. Updated software usually provides the best results.
Media and third-party content
Older articles, archived files, live embeds, advertisements, social posts, externally supplied documents, and external websites may not fully meet our target. We improve material under our control and encourage providers to offer accessible alternatives.
Audio, video, and downloads
We aim to provide meaningful labels and supporting text. Captions, transcripts, audio descriptions, or accessible documents may not yet be available for every item, especially breaking news and historic material. Contact us if you need an alternative format.
Known limitations
Because news is published continuously, newly published or migrated content may temporarily have missing alternative text, imperfect heading structure, or third-party controls with limited keyboard or screen-reader support. We prioritize issues that block reporting or essential account features.
Request help
If you cannot access a page, tell us its address, what you were trying to do, the browser or assistive technology used, and the adjustment that would help. Do not include sensitive medical information. Choose “Accessibility” on our Contact page.
How we respond
We review reports, confirm the problem where possible, assess impact, and prioritize a correction. Third-party issues may require provider coordination, but we will explain available alternatives when we can.
Ongoing review
We review shared components, navigation, forms, contrast, keyboard behavior, and new features as the service changes. We will update this statement when practices or known limitations materially change.
