Kathmandu Metropolitan City has successfully rescued 73 children—41 boys and 32 girls—over the past fiscal years in a significant child protection effort. These minors were found in vulnerable conditions, with 38 placed in shelters and 34 reunited with their families.
Authorities reported that seven cases, involving serious offenses such as sexual assault, abuse, and child trafficking, have been taken to court for legal proceedings. The rescue operation highlights the city's commitment to safeguarding children's rights and well-being.
